Y-DNA Haplogroup E-V6 (Polus). The Targum translates this as Pontsikhnai or Pantsekhyaanaei, probably denoting Pentaschoinos. This is a district in Egypt later referred to as Dodekaschoinos.

Polus was the father of Africa's southernmost Gibborim. The name was applied because his people were closest to the Pole even further south than the people of Krios.
