Pata or Pota was a descendant of Romaniote Jews and the Jewish E-Y6938 MRCA nephew of Edemen and Ed being the son of their sister and grandson of their Father Csaba and his Khalyzian wife. It was through Pata that Csaba became the ancestor of the Aba clan.
It was thanks to people like Pata that the Hungarians claimed Magyor as an adopted brother of Hunor and as a maternal ancestor of Attila. Magyor means mixed people who were related to the Hunor nobility.
