Scribal Pharisaism
Scribal Pharisaism refers to Beit Hillel's Pharisaical movement which holds that the Oral Torah must be discussed in writing and which culminated in the Mishnah-Talmud and Midrashim. It exists in contrast to Beit Shammai's Karaite Judaism, a Pharisaical movement which opposed the Talmudist position of writing down the oral Torah. Scribal Pharisees were Beit Hillel while the Karaite Pharisees were Beit Shammai. Beit Hillel worked with the independent Chroniclers (Scribes) who existed at the time and hence can be described as Scribal Pharisees. The School of the Pharisaical Scribes descends from Shimeon ben Shetach the opponent of Judah ben Tabbai.
As Wikinoah was founded by Orthodox Jews and Baptized Noahides, it promotes obedience to the Chroniclers' Pharisees meaning the group which became the Talmudists rather than simply to the Pharisees as a whole (which could include the group which became the Karaites) nor simply to unaffiliated Chroniclers.
