Tachkastan also known as Tashik in Tang Chinese and Tayyaye in Syriac was an Arab State from the Battle of Dhi Qar until 692CE in Al-Jazizah, Iraq between the Persian and Roman Empires. Its Manichean polity had a couple of Sadducee rulers among its Kings which included:
- Hani ibn Qabisa d.628
- Hormizd of Nisibis 4 yrs. d.632
- Emir Ambrus 12yrs. d.644
- King Tashik 12yrs. d.656
It was consumed by 36 years of Fitna until 692 when Abdul Malik ibn Marwan conquered Abdallah ibn Al-Zubayir and turned it into the Umyyad Caliphate.
