Tachkastan also known as Tashik in Tang Chinese and Tayyaye in Syriac was an Arab State in Al-Jazizah, Iraq from the Battle of Dhi Qar until 692CE. Its Manichean polity had a couple of Sadducee rulers among its Kings which included:

- Hormizd of Nisibis 4 yrs. d.632
- Emir Ambrus 12yrs. d.644
- King Tashik 12yrs. d.656
- 36 years of Fitna until 692

According to a concordant synthesis of passages of the Arab-Byzantine Chronicle and the Diary of Egeria, the original "Makah" was located in the Northern part of Tachkastan where Rome, Persia and Chaldea met.
