This article theorizes that Abu Bakr was the chief of the Banu Bakr tribe and not related to the Quraysh tribe as stated in the Standard Islamic Narrative. It also theorizes that the Banu Bakr joined the Parthian Allies of Heraclius in 622 against Sassan until they were conquered by the Quraysh in 633.
