| align="right" | ܘܡܢ ܐܠܢܐܣ ܡܢ ܝܩܘܠ ܐܡܢܐ ܒܐܠܠܗ ܘܒܐܠܝܘܡ ܐܠܐخܪ ܘܡܐ ܗܡ ܒܡؤܡܢܝܢ ܝخܐܕܥܘܢ ܐܠܠܗ ܘܐܠذܝܢ ܐܡܢܘܐ ܘܡܐ ܝخܕܥܘܢ ܐܠܐ ܐܢܦܣܗܡ ܘܡܐ ܝܫܥܪܘܢ ܦܝ ܩܠܘܒܗܡ ܡܪض ܦܙܐܕܗܡ ܐܠܠܗ ܡܪضܐ ܘܠܗܡ ܥذܐܒ ܐܠܝܡ ܒܡܐ ܟܐܢܘܐ ܝܟذܒܘܢ ܘܐذܐ ܩܝܠ ܠܗܡ ܠܐ ܬܦܣܕܘܐ ܦܝ ܐܠܐܪض ܩܐܠܘܐ ܐܢܡܐ ܢܚܢ ܡܨܠܚܘܢ ܐܠܐ ܐܢܗܡ ܗܡ ܐܠܡܦܣܕܘܢ ܘܠܟܢ ܠܐ ܝܫܥܪܘܢ ܘܐذܐ ܩܝܠ ܠܗܡ ܐܡܢܘܐ ܟܡܐ ܐܡܢ ܐܠܢܐܣ ܩܐܠܘܐ ܐܢؤܡܢ ܟܡܐ ܐܡܢ ܐܠܣܦܗܐء? ܐܠܐ ܐܢܗܡ ܗܡ ܐܠܣܦܗܐء ܘܠܟܢ ܠܐ ܝܥܠܡܘܢ ܘܐذܐ ܠܩܘܐ ܐܠذܝܢ ܐܡܢܘܐ ܩܐܠܘܐ ܐܡܢܐ! ܘܐذܐ خܠܘܐ ܐܠى ܫܝܐܛܝܢܗܡ ܩܐܠܘܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܥܟܡ ܐܢܡܐ ܢܚܢ ܡܣܬܗܙؤܘܢ ܐܠܠܗ ܝܣܬܗܙىء ܒܗܡ ܘܝܡܕܗܡ ܦܝ ܛغܝܐܢܗܡ ܝܥܡܗܘܢ ܐܘܠئܟ ܐܠذܝܢ ܐܫܬܪܘܐ ܐܠضܠܐܠة ܒܐܠܗܕى ܦܡܐ ܪܒܚܬ ܬܓܐܪܬܗܡ ܘܡܐ ܟܐܢܘܐ ܡܗܬܕܝܢ ܡثܠܗܡ ܟܡثܠ ܐܠذܝ ܐܣܬܘܩܕ ܢܐܪܐ ܦܠܡܐ ܐضܐءܬ ܡܐ ܚܘܠܗ ذܗܒ ܐܠܠܗ ܒܢܘܪܗܡ ܘܬܪܟܗܡ ܦܝ ظܠܡܐܬ ܠܐ ܝܒܨܪܘܢ ܨܡ ܒܟܡ ܥܡܝ ܦܗܡ ܠܐ ܝܪܓܥܘܢ ܐܘ ܟܨܝܒ ܡܢ ܐܠܣܡܐء ܦܝܗ ظܠܡܐܬ ܘܪܥܕ ܘܒܪܩ ܝܓܥܠܘܢ ܐܨܐܒܥܗܡ ܦܝ ܐذܐܢܗܡ ܡܢ ܐܠܨܘܐܥܩ ܚذܪ ܐܠܡܘܬ ܘܐܠܠܗ ܡܚܝܛ ܒܐܠܟܐܦܪܝܢ ܝܟܐܕ ܐܠܒܪܩ ܝخܛܦ ܐܒܨܐܪܗܡ ܟܠܡܐ ܐضܐء ܠܗܡ ܡܫܘܐ ܦܝܗ ܘܐذܐ ܐظܠܡ ܥܠܝܗܡ ܩܐܡܘܐ ܘܠܘ ܫܐء ܐܠܠܗ ܠذܗܒ ܒܣܡܥܗܡ ܘܐܒܨܐܪܗܡ ܐܢ ܐܠܠܗ ܥܠى ܟܠ ܫܝء ܩܕܝܪ || 002:008 But of the people are some who say: "We believe in The DIVINE and the Last Day" although they are not with believers002.009 (aiming) to beguile The DIVINE and those who believe though they beguile none save their own identities and they perceive not.002.010 In their hearts is a disease, for divinity has developed their disease, and to them is a tragic doom in that they are speakers of lies.002.011 Once it is said unto them: Make not mischief in the earth they say: "We are harmonisers only!"002.012 Are not they indeed the mischief-makers? But they perceive not.002.013 Once it is said unto them: "Believe as the people believe" they ask: "Shall we believe as the foolish believe?" Are not they indeed the foolish? But they know not.002.014 Once they fall in with those who believe they say: "AMEN" but when they go apart to their devils they declare: "Lo! we are with you verily we did but mock."002.015 Divinity makes a mockery of them leaving them to wander blindly on in their contumacy.002.016 These are they who purchase error at the price of guidance so their commerce doth not prosper neither are they guided.002.017 Their likeness is as the likeness of the one whose kindled fire such that it sheds its light around his shadow. The subject of The DIVINE taketh away their light and leaves them in darkness where they cannot see.002.018 Deaf, dumb, and blind, and they repent not.002.019 Or like a rainstorm from the sky wherein is darkness thunder and the flash of lightning. They thrust their fingers in their ears by reason of the thunder-claps for fear of death, but The DIVINE encompasses the disbelievers.002.020 The lightning almost snatching away their sight from them as often as it flashes forth for them. They walk therein but when it darkens against them they stand still. If The DIVINE willed it could destroy their hearing and their sight Lo! The DIVINE is Able to do all things.
