The form: Yahudi may be derived from the root as follows: Hawada/ , transformed to Haada (delayed/ repented): Yahwudu/ transformed to Yahudu (1-to delay/ 2-to repent and act righteously: and here the two opposite meanings of the root word Haad take the same linguistic structure YAHUDU): However at the level of the noun in the Holy Quran they differ: he is Yahwudi/ transformed to Yahudi = a Delayer; and he is a Haa'id = repenting and acting righteously; hence: Alazeena Haadu in the Holy Quran = the Torah observing Jews .
