Tzidon in Hebrew, to the north of the Holy Land, see Genesis 10:19. This was the one time capital of Phoenicia. However, according to the Targum (on 1 Chronicles 1:13), Canaan's first-born was Bothnias (or Cothnias), who was the founder of Sidon.
