Messianic Noahites
Messianic Noahites are Noahides who believe that Rabbi Jesus of Nazareth was an appearance of the Isaiah Sar HaPanim to help Lost Sheep through the Nations. Such people might be Noahides either:
- As simply Virtuous Pagans due to lack of knowledge of the Biblical faith while knowingly or unknowingly they have not broken the Rainbow covenant of Noah without belief in Judaism. Wikinoah does not cater to such Noahides.
- OR moreover as Miaphysite Noahides (i.e. Sabbatarian Noahides who are Messianic) because they respect Noah's Rainbow Covenant precisely because of faith in HaShem's revelation at Mount Sinai.
There is usually a lot of hatred from Chabad Noahides towards Messianic Noahides so Messianic Noahides cannot be Chabadniks because Chabadniks have their own Messiah (Menachem Schneerson).
Hugo Grotius is known to have been writing about Messianic Noahides and in Scottish rite freemasonry one could not progress to the 21st degree unless one became a Noahites. Their history in Europe derives from the Patarene Noahides of Bosnia and Paulician Cathars of Romania. Before entering Europe they were known as Alevis and as Tsabis. Their movement traces back to the Sobiai of Elchasai and the Gnostic Ebionites who ultimately derived from the Persian Magi founded by Daniel. Hence there are no other Believing Noahide mivements which can claim such an ancient historical continuity as the Messianic Noahides can.
