The Poseidon Sethians who submitted to the conquest of Ashur became known as Mitzraim while all the others became known as Phuth. Although generally identified with the area settled by the Punics, it seems the names Bantu, Mbuti, and Buto come from Put. Tradition states that Put and Mitzraim together begot the Copts.
