Nimrod the titan-lord was often called son of Canaan due to his conquests. He is also called son of Cush because he inherited Kush his predecessor in dominion. The Canaanites were ultimately destroyed according to Deuteronomy 20:17 but some of his offshoot nations survived as Sino-Tibetans.
