that non-Jews have no souls
The Way Of God by Moshe Chayim Luzzatto published by Feldheim ISBN 0873063449, translation by Rabbi Arye Kaplan on page 141 (Israel and he Nations) states [7] In the World to Come there will be no nation other than Israel. The souls of righteous gentiles will be allowed to exist in the Future World, but only as an addition and attachment to Israel.

(The footnote to this on page 345 says that gentiles do not have a full reward for obeying their commandments), and also it says (They therefore have a separate, lesser "World to Come") also (Non-Jews will furthermore not partake in the resurrection, and will therefore exist in the Future World only as souls.)

Bottom line here is another important subject that needs all resourses and references posted. BillyJDial 14:15, 18 May 2007 (EDT)

:This is a good topic. As a quick summary, what I learned was:
:* When it says In the World to Come there will be no nation other than Israel, it means that each nation is allotted in the World to Come a place according to their Sefiros. The Jewish people, being Malchus shebe Malchus, are in a different place, as is each of the other seventy nations. This is also given as the reason why there are different laws governing each nation in this world too, and may be the reason why some authorities say it is absolutely forbidden for one nation to study the laws, customs of another nation, without a pressing need.
:* When it says but only as an addition and attachment to Israel. it means only as in their attachment to the Sefirah of Malchus, which is also Keter, the vessel in which the Torah enters into the world.
:* When it says full reward for obeying their commandments it means the reward for non-Jews fulfilling the commandments does not include Chochma-Binah-Daas. This means, without being the recipient and transmitter of Torah - as the Jew are called to be - they are not permitted to philosophize about religion, nor will they be rewarded for maintaining and transmitting the correct "philosophy" of religion.
:* Non-Jews will furthermore not partake in the resurrection There are rabbinic sources that disagree with this. Also, there is an opinion that each resurrected body belongs to a meta-soul. This meta-soul can come down several times (split into husband and wife, in different generations, as Jew and non-Jew, etc). All these instances of this meta-soul, which have the same root, but are never exactly alike, will be represented in a perfect body.
:We should add sources and references. --Abrahamson 07:35, 20 May 2007 (EDT)
