Subbotnik Jews are a type of Israeli Jew with Noahite Subbotnik origins but who have opted to go through an Orthodox Giyur Lechumra without turning their backs on their Subbotnik heritage and have settled in Israel. They are distinct from Talmudist Subbotnik Gerei who reject their Subbotnik heritage in order to assimilate into one or another specific Hassidic movement. Subbotnik Jews follow Judah ben Tabbai's Yerushalmi Palestinian Minhag HaQaraim but are not Karaite Jews.
