Salman was a Zoroastrian who became a Netorian but was kicked out of Nisibis by Babai the Great before finally subscribing to Monoenergist Hebrew Messianism. He is believed by Leo the Issaurian to have been instrumental in writing the Tome of the Saracens whose other authors Leo said were Umar and Muawia's enemy Abu Turab of Hira.
