Pander a, Pandera or Pantera (Pantheras: meaning Lion) was the name, according to Epiphanius, held by a Davidic family known in the centuries bridging either side of the Common Era.

Traditionally 3 Jesuses in this Family have been distinguished in the Talmud by the Ashkenazim before the Shoah.

One member of that family called Joses (the half brother of the Christian Jesus) is said to have known the very young Judah Pappas' betrothed Mary Magdalena of whom Ben Stada was born.

Gnostic Christian tradition considers that son of Magdalena was either the the reincarnation of or the adopted son of the Christian Jesus and this has led many Jews since the Shoah to believe that the two are synonymous.
