The Taji of Tachkastan were a sect of Essenes (Judeo-Baptists) from the Formerly Roman Province of Tachkastan which was conquered by the Persians in 610AD. They spoke Achamenid Arabic. They were supported by various Pahlavi families.
The tʾcyk' were the original Judeo-Baptist Gnostics from whom the Manicheans had seceded.
