What is the best study method for Bnai Noach to Learn Torah and Hebrew? This question qualifies as probably one of the most fundamental and essential questions a Bnai Noach should ask. Bnai Noach means taking responsibility for actions and decision made without excuses and beliefs clouding the picture. Obviously this general statement requires allot of nails to specifically define its meaning.

Establishing a Torah civilization. The revelation of the Torah at Sinai did not occur historically in the past, that's well, so what can I do I wasn't involved, its somebody else's decision.

The revelation of Sinai occurs in every generation! The question every person receives from Heaven, namely do you what to accept my Torah or no? Somebody else or an earlier generation can not make an Oath-Brit and bind your soul with their oath. That's a serious guilt trip something on par with "he died for you". A Bnai Noach has to take responsibility for his/her life and the actions and decision that he/she makes without giving unclean excuses, or making a convenient scape goat.

The Oath-Brit opens the soul up to a revelation from the Ancient of Days but you can't have your cake and eat it too! When you Cut a Brit/Oath, it is serious business. It opens up the person/nation to blessings and curses. Israel survived the curse of exile for 2000 years! When you cut a Brit/Oath with Heaven your walking on a very fine sharp wire. Its very very important that a non-Bnai Brit people understand the consequences of his/her action and/or decision. Once one makes an Oath-Brit with the Safer Torah that's it, there is no turning back and going to Egypt! Once done a non-Bnai Brit people becomes a new creation, the old world no longer exists.

Hence if a person makes an Oath-Brit with a Safer Torah then this person must have access to its wisdom, straight from the mouth of Elohim without any intermediaries.

Part II

The Bnai Noach peoples represent a new creation. I highly recommend that they switch from the Roman Alphabet to the Hebrew. The reason being Bnai Noach concerns establishing a Torah Civilization across the world. Bnai Noach has an alliance with Israel. Bnai Brit with Bnai Brit. We need to share a common alphabet. Sharing a common alphabet does not mean that the Bnai Noach Brit peoples have to make Hebrew their mother tongue - its important that you folks understand this essential point.

Bnai Noach in order to establish a Bnai Noach society must take upon themselves that the Torah shall function as the Constitution of any Bnai Noach state; that any Bnai Noach government gets its mandate to rule by means of the Torah of Moshe.

This means that Bnai Noach require access to their Constitutional foundations, that its not just some piece of paper placed under glass. The written torah qualifies as a great vision but its the Oral Torah that interprets the dream and makes it a functional reality. KNOW THIS.

Part III

It seems to me that the best way to learn: a beginnig student of Torah must understand that the 5 books of Moshe is without question the most important revelation for all generations of mankind. The Torah has a vision, this vision requires an Oral Torah that can systematically interpret the intent of the vision and give it practical meaning. Consequently the first step to achieving this purpose a person must possess the ability to read the Torah in its original language Hebrew like he/she can read a newspaper in his/her native tongue.

Part IV

Understanding the Talmud defines as a matter in the midst of another matter. Understanding/learning Torah requires learning in context. Consequently I learn to this day Torah in the context of the prayer book.

There exists 54 weekly readings or possible weekly readings of the Torah, depending on the Jewish yearly cycle. The Jewish calendar is based upon a sun/moon relationship. The christian calendar is based solely upon a sun calculation basis. This topic requires allot of mathematical skills, the important thing is that a young student of Torah knows that a distinction fundamentally exists between the 2 calendar calculations.

In the standing prayer there exists 3 blessings followed by 13 supplicatory blessing and closing with 3 blessings. The difference between a blessing and a praise: a blessing under certain conditions qualifies as an Oath! not so a praise.exclaim

The 5 books of the Torah have a unique relationship with each other. The first book defines the 5 oaths made by Adam, Noach, Avraham, Yitzak and Yaacov. The relationship hear concerns parent children relationships and education. The next 3 books of the Torah one can roughly divide into defining with greater clarity how the nation of Israel follows after the 3 Oaths? made by the fathers of Israel. 2nd book examines the Oath-Brit of Avraham concerning Justice. 3rd book examines the Oath-Brit of Yitzak concerning Sacred dedications of the Soul towards achieving justice; 4th book examines the Oath-Brit of Yaacov concerning the Redemption of the generations/inspiring the future generations to actively pursue the Oath-Brit relationships of Avraham and Yitzak; the 5th book is the book of legislative review, this book reexamines the brit relationship through the last will and testament of Moshe the Teacher of Israel.

The Written Torah has two weekly readings in the year that explicitly discuss the blessing/curse responsibilities of the Oath-Brit relationship. Its not very pleasant reading but its considered as the 2 CROWNS of the Torah. Subtracting the 2 CROWNS of the Torah that leaves 52 weekly readings of the Torah. 52 is divisible by 13, there exists in the standing prayer 13 supplicatory blessings of the Soul. 13 X 4 = 52. The Talmud teaches that one should have a fixed place in his/her prayers. By dividing the Torah into 52 portions a person can affix a specific blessing to a specific weekly reading; its possible to get really creative. Once a person has permanently affixed a blessing to a weekly reading its strongly suggested that student of Torah seek to "understand" the weekly Torah reading in light of that permanently affixed blessing. Hence the סידר (prayer book) gives an order to the Weekly readings and the Weekly reading define the meaning of a particular blessing. Developing an "UNDERSTANDING" of Torah follows this logic for ever. This is a specific which defines the general category of "UNDERSTANDING".

At the weekly Torah reading 7 people read from the Safer Torah on Shabbat. Consequently every weekly reading of the Torah has 7 fixed divisions, corresponding to the 7 people that shall be called up to read from the Torah that particular Shabbot. A student wants to "UNDERSTAND" the Torah. "UNDERSTANDING" the Talmud defines as a matter in the midsts of another matter. This point, its very important to rememberredface.

The weekly readings of Torah occur on a cyclic basis such that every year all 5 books of the Torah are publicly read. The Torah reading is cyclic ideaquestion. This means that a student of Torah can circle, so to speak the wagons in his/her efforts of conquest.

Do this:

  1. take two strips of paper.
  2. go to the weekly Torah portion that shall be publicly read on Shabbot.
  3. place one strip of paper on the first alyah on the Parsha reading that was publicly read the week before.
  4. place the other strip of paper on the first alyah on the Parsha reading that shall be publicly read the next week in the future.

The Ancient of Days said to Moshe concerning His Name I Am I Was I Will Be eek.

  1. The 2 strips of paper now exist in the parsha prior to the parsha of the present week and also in the parsha coming immediately after the parsha of the present week.
  2. Time to break your teeth. mrgreen The best and easiest way to learn Hebrew is learning ideas in context "UNDERSTAND".
  3. The written torah as found in a book is not like that found in a Safer Torah. The Safer Torah has no verse divisions it has no vowel signs. Not so the written torah printed in a book. The written torah printed in a book is done so to aid the reader in achieving easy access to reading the Torah with "UNDERSTANDING". A verse on average has about 10 to 12 words. Thats not allot. A Soncino translation of the written Torah writes the letters of the Torah in big letters, for easy reading. Children's books do the same thing! When you come to a word in the Hebrew that you don't know underline it and then find the word that's in the same verse in the opposing translation. You'll probably need help with an Hebrew English Dictionary. The Alclay dictionary is hands down the best, its worth the investment.
  4. When you have read the first alyot in the parsha that precedes the present weekly reading and also the 1st alyah of the parsha that shall be publicly read next week, now take the 2 strips of paper and put them in 2 parshaot distance from the weekly reading. One strip 2 parshaot before the weekly reading and the other paper strip 2 parshaot ahead of the present weekly parsha reading.
  5. Now read the 1st alyot found in these parshaot in the same manner that you did earlier.
  6. Repeat the above process until you have read all the 1st alyot of all the parshaot in the entire written Torah. This is 1/7 of the entire Torah, if you do this same process every week, namely the second week you surround the weekly parsha reading and read all the 2nd alyot of the written torah; 3rd week all the 3rd alyot of the written torah ect ect ect. come 49 days you have read the entire Torah. The Festival of Weeks is 50 days following Passover, the counting of the Omar is 49 days. The feast of Weeks celebrates the receiving of the Torah.biggrin get it got it good!
  7. After having juggled 1/7 of the written torah fresh in your head now read the weekly parsha reading ARE YOU IN FOR A SURPRISE! Your ability to understand the intent of Moshe shall radically be altered no question about it. This takes allot of work and dedication but Bnai Noach desperately require Torah Scholars and Judges. From this beginning any person can quickly attain access to the entire Torah. Torah learning is a labour of love it requires great dedication

Part V

I'd very much like to see bn students work on establishing a standardized conversion of Roman letters to Hebrew letters. I am here by giving an assignment to the Bnai Noach people to initiate a standardized conversion of Roman letter to Hebrew letters
