HaGarim HaManichayim (the Manichean Proselytes) were a Messianic-Noahite movement established by an Ishmaelite-Sadducee called Ibn Abi Kabsha in a 7thC.CE Sassanian realm of Manicheans (Hanifs).
Background
Ibn Abi Kabsha tried to establish unity between those who kept the Laws of Moses and those who accepted the 1stC. Romaniote Rabbi Jesus as Messiah. However, the Sassanian Manicheans (Hanifs) were not impressed by him because he respected the Old Testament while the Ishmaelite-Sadducees were not impressed by him because he accepted Jesus as Messiah. When people first heard his ideas they used to say that he had become a Tsabi -a type of Persian Messianic Hebrew later described in Islam as part way between Adoptionists, Persians and Jews and from which Manicheism itself had originally emerged. His ideas were preserved by his friends Abu Turab and Salman of Fars.
Ibn Abi Kabsha's Messianic Sadducee ideas were composed in the voice of the Archangel Michael to ministers of congregations and delivered by Gabriel the twin of Dihyah bin Khalifah al-Kalbi.
Christology
The Manichean-Proselyte Christology was Tripartite, Themistian-Monophysitism by believing that the 1stC. Romaniote Rabbi Iesous was a manifestation of Abraham's Visitors, the Mithrean Messianic emanation of the divine albeit constrained to live as a human being in every conceivable way. The tripartite elements were:
- his Body aspect the Rasul given to his disciples the night before the crucifixion
- his Spirit aspect the Messiah Son of Mary entered Paradise with Saint Dismas
- his Appearance aspect the Mahmad temple which came down to be born, seen, crucified, buried and resurrected before ascending to sit at the right hand.
