Even though they did not consider themselves to be Arabs, they spoke a language which they called "Intelligible Arabic" being the language in which they believed originated certain teachings corrupted by [[Mehmet the Ishmaelite]].
From 692 onwards the Quraysh began to create Islam splitting into Eastern Quraysh and Western Quraysh in 749.
