In some stories the Sassanian leader of the Judaizers is called depicted as a Nestor of Babylon in others he is called depicted as an Elias of Rome. In either case he focuses on the fact that the NT Jesus did not abolish the law and in either case he is stoned to death. He promoted circumcision and permitted poligamy as well as ablutions with stagnant water.
