Most of the Petrine House of Imran have lapsed in Torah observance and maintaining Kohen and Israelite marriage laws. This has led to several different sects among them. However, the remaining Petrines who follow only the Torah faithful House of Imran and maintain faith in the Petrine Lectionary are united in spirit and [[tosafist]] approach even if individually isolated.
