Orthodox Jewish author R. [[Harvey Falk]] (NY) wrote that R. [[Judah ben Samuel of Regensburg]], who led Germany's 12th-century [[Chasidei Ashkenaz]], considered him to be a ''Tzaddik'' (a Jewish saint or spiritual Master among [[Hasidim]]).
