They were generally considered Kushan because of marriage to Re'amah and descent from Havilah both daughters of Kush.
Re'amah was thus a E-Z830* (which includes E-V42) Nimrodian nation but its offspring became sons in law to Jokshan son of Abraham.

Nimrod conquered the people of Canaan as a Master of Animals. Thus he became renowned as a mighty hunter before the lord and was called Nimrod. He seized control of Canaan raising his "Hivites" over the Rephaim while the Israelites were in Mitzraim.
Nimrod was the father of Eliazer, progenitor of Sheba and Dedan who joined the people of Abraham.
