The Horite people of Lotan (Apep) were sworn enemies of El-Ra (and originally Set too) though claiming descent from the Horus King Pharaohs of Mitzraim. They were conquered by the Edomites and enjoyed a brief stint in power over Egypt as the Greater Hyksos kings.
