When the Enochian generation of Cain discovered its evil origins, filled with remorse it repented and was granted immortality. Similarly, because the [[נוחים|Noach]] generation of Cain walked with God it was referred to as the son of Seth, but all other descendants of Cain would always be known as [[נפלים|Nephilim]].
Enochians began to serve as an elf-like priesthood in anti-dilluvian times as the Apkallu. It was Enoch who warned Noach of about the deluge. Although the Tanakh does not mention how, the Enochians who survived the deluge continued this preistly role afterwards in Egypt whence the idea of "the little people" was spawned into Europe. Their descendants included the Rechabites. Even Moses' teacher Jethro-Shuaib was a Cainite priest of Enoch sent to Midian.
