The Children of God, i.e. Adam, Abel, Seth for example. Seth married one of the  [[בנות האדם]] and so his children were referred to as ה[[גבר]]ים, אנשי השם (Gen 4:26 and 6:4).

Either they, or [[האדם]], represented the proto-human Y-chromosomes (e.g. [http://fort-fox.info/familiar-faces/ 1], [http://paleoanthropologie.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html 2], [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uranus_(mythology) 3]) which did not survive down to the present day.

If Hadam represented the proto-humans then we could say that the children of God survived the deluge thanks to Enokh and the children of Noah, whereby Noah would have had twin sons (yDE-Shem and yCT-Japheth) and an elder daughter (mtL0-Ham).

:A + L0 = Ham

:DE + L1 = Shem

:CT + L2 = Japheth

:(B + L5 = Enokh)

An alternative arrangement could be:

:Neanderthal = mother of Cana'an

:B + L5 = Noah (when he dies out the earth will be destroyed again).

:DE + L0 = Ham

:F + L1 = Shem

:C + L2 = Japheth

:A = Enoch
